Week 6: Concept/Mind Mapping
Introduction
Who am I: Hello! I'm Jenna Hough. On June 3rd I'll become Mrs. Jenna Stedry! What I do: I am the Freeland Y5-4 & 9-12 Art Teacher. Where I'm located: I reside in Midland with my fiance Jeremy, and my fur-babies Binx (meow) and Paislie (woof!). Course Questions/Concerns: I am most concerned about being able to incorporate enough technology into my subject area to meet this course's needs, but not take away from the hands-on experience that is Art. I am also feeling in a time crunch because the end of the school year is creeping up fast and I only see the majority of my students once a week for a very short 40 minutes. --One day at a time, right..?!
Jenna,
ReplyDeleteVery interesting padlet because I think a lot of students and teachers for instance think that if its out there, they can use it without being penalized. We always have to make sure that we attribute the work to the creator in anything that we do. This helped me out a lot when dealing with images because a lot of us probably just post the image without giving proper credit to where it came from. That is not the correct way to do it. You can use the image, just make sure you give credit to cover yourself. I have taken the creative commons website and used in my own school as well to show teachers just how important these laws are and to always make sure that you give credit.
Nice job,
Shawn
