Who am I: Hello! I'm Jenna Hough. On June 3rd I'll become Mrs. Jenna Stedry! What I do: I am the Freeland Y5-4 & 9-12 Art Teacher. Where I'm located: I reside in Midland with my fiance Jeremy, and my fur-babies Binx (meow) and Paislie (woof!). Course Questions/Concerns: I am most concerned about being able to incorporate enough technology into my subject area to meet this course's needs, but not take away from the hands-on experience that is Art. I am also feeling in a time crunch because the end of the school year is creeping up fast and I only see the majority of my students once a week for a very short 40 minutes. --One day at a time, right..?!
Great video. Using Google Docs was a great way to show students how to set up their one-point perspective drawings. Using the different colored lines and labels also really helps show the various components in a clear way.
ReplyDeleteThis was awesome! I like how you typed out the key words and left them on the screen. A great reminder for students. I learned something myself with this watching! I agree with Nikki's comment on how nice it was to use the colored lines.
ReplyDeleteHow hard was that for you to figure out how to do? The perspective piece was really fun for me to watch!
ReplyDeleteOne of my struggles was trying to find a very simple "paint" type app/program that would allow you to manually erase portions of lines. I experimented with a number of drawing apps and finally found one-- for drawing on webpages, ha! I made a script, and the rest came pretty naturally.
